Installing a Standard Aqua Rock™ Fountain Kit
In your own Pot
6 Easy Steps
Ideal for indoor or patio use.
Items Needed:
1)
A Standard Aqua RockTM Fountain Kit 2) A water
proof pot with an opening of 20 in. or more and a
height of 16 in. or more.
3) Drill with a 1/4 in. bit and
a 1-1/4 in. bit.
4) Duct Tape 5) Gravel
Step 1
Drill about thirteen 1/4 in. holes around the bottom of
the five gallon bucket. Space the holes about 3 in.
apart. This will allow water to fill the bucket from the
bottom.
Step 2
Drill a 1-1/4 in. hole at the top of the pot.  This is for
the pump’s cord to go through, or you can drape the
cord over the side of the pot. Don’t let the water level
in the pot reach this hole.
Step 5
Fill the pot with decorative gravel. Make sure to clean
the gravel of dirt.
Step 4
Put the pump in the bucket and the bucket in the
pot. Run the hose and cord out the lid of the bucket.
Put the cord through the hole in the pot. Duct tape
the large hole on the lid and  the hole on the pot so
that no gravel can pass through the holes.

Installing an Aqua Rock™ Commercial Size Fountain Kit
9 Easy Steps
Step 6
Put the hose through the stones, any way you like.
Add water to the pot by pouring water directly onto
the fountain. Plug in and enjoy!
Step 1. Chose a spot of high visibility.
Step 2. Clear an area the size of the plastic liner. Pull
the gravel back so only the dirt is showing.
Step 3.  Dig a hole deep enough to hold the 15 gallon
bucket. The dirt around the hole should slop toward the
bucket so that the water will flow back to the bucket.
Step 4.  Place the pump in the bucket with the hose
attached to the pump. Put the hose through the middle
hole of the lid and the cord though the side hole on the
lid. Secure the lid to the bucket and put the bucket in
the hole with the cord going in the direction of the
electrical source. Make sure the surrounding dirt slopes
toward the bucket.
Step 5.  Place the liner over the cleared area with the
hole on the liner centered over the center hole on the
bucket lid. Run the cord under the liner toward the
electric source.
Step 6.  Cover the liner with the decorative gravel.
Make sure that the liner is laying flat against the dirt so
that you can cover all of it.
Step 7.  Insert the hose 2-4 inches into the pipe that is
attached to the boulder. For a higher water spout push
the hose further into the pipe for a lesser water spout
keep the hose farther down in the pipe.
Step 8.  Fill the underground bucket by pouring water
directly onto the boulder. Once you see water coming
up though the gravel the underground bucket is full.
ATTENTION:  You may run an irrigation drip line into
the underground bucket so that it fills on your irrigation
timer. This is especially advisable in dry, desert
climates. Sprinklers and rain water also help fill the
underground catch basin.
Step 9.  Plug the pump into the
electrical outlet and enjoy your new
fountain. You may adjust the flow of
the water off the rock by tilting the rock
one direction or another.

Step 3
Put the hose clamp on the hose about 3" above the
pump. Tighten the clamp until the hose in 1/2 its
normal size. This will lesson the water flow which will
keep water from splashing out of the pot.
